Help celebrate ten years of NCBellydance.org with an exciting weekend of workshops and gala show featuring the award-winning Amani Jabril!

Best known for her fluid and deeply sensual style of dance, Amani Jabril has built her reputation on delivering stellar dance technique combined with the heart and soul of the Middle East. An educator, as well as dancer, Ms. Jabril has studied and performed extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and North America. She is now an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Kennesaw State University.

Ms. Jabril was awarded "Best Newcomer" for the International Middle Eastern Dance Awards by Nafoura.com and was invited to assistant teach during the Mahmoud Reda 2011 United States Tour.

She has also been invited to teach at Amani of Lebanon's Oriental Festival in Beirut, Lebanon in October.

Workshop Information

All weekend workshops will take place at East Cary Jazzercise, 1333 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh NC (just off of Walnut Road, near Borders/Crossroads Shopping Center).

Saturday Gala Show Starring Amani Jabril, November 12, 2011

Location: Halle Cultural Arts Center, 237 N. Salem Street in historic downtown Apex NC.

7:00-8:00pm Silent Auction. A variety of dazzling items and services will be available for bidding. Get a head start on your holiday shopping!

8:00-10:00pm Gala Fundraiser Show. This exciting show will feature our star Amani Jabril, NCBellydance.org's own Haala, and a spectacular lineup of professional North Carolina and regional dancers.

Prices at the door: adults $15, and children 5-12 $7. (Children under 5 free).
